These aluminized heat-resistant gloves have a Thermobest palm. Thermobest is an aramid-blend that provides excellent heat protection and some resistance to cuts and abrasion. Aluminized gloves have a coating on the back of the hand and thumb that reflects heat away from workers when working in foundries and near high-heat furnaces or molten metal.
