Shurtape® PC 858 CA specialty flame-retardant HVAC duct tape conforms to the California Energy Commission approval. Used in the HVAC industry to seal, seam, and join Class 1 Flex Duct, this tape can also be used to seal flex duct to fitting joints without being in combination with mastic. Offering superior shear strength and excellent tearability, UL 181B-FX Listed PC 858CA is recommended for applications in which the tensile strength and adhesion to stainless steel and polyethylene must meet or exceed the strict requirements of UL, flex duct manufacturers and city and state codes.
