Self-adjusting, shaft-mounted axial lip seals are designed to deflect dust, dirt, mud, and water away from shafts and prevent lubricant loss. Flexible, hinged lip needs no special machining to fit tightly to shaft. Seals automatically vent excess grease during regreasing. Resilient nitrile rubber (NBR) material stretches over shaft obstructions for easy installation; its natural tension holds the seal in place while the shaft turns.
