Metal guard rails (also known as channel guard rails) mount directly to the top frame of an unpowered (gravity-flow) skate wheel or roller conveyor to control the flow of items along the conveyor and prevent damage to the items. The rails direct items as they move along the conveyor, stop the items from falling off the sides of the conveyor, and prevent oversized items from being transported on the conveyor.
